Adelara Estate was born from a simple friendship. As best friends and neighbors, Adeline and Lara shared a vision: a community that feels like a quiet, wooded sanctuary rather than a collection of disconnected green squares.
The Adelara Story
In April 2024, we launched Adelara Bay to escape the typical "green square" look of Second Life. We wanted a region where every parcel flowed into the next. By September 2024, we expanded to Adelara Lake, creating a serene wilderness retreat complete with campgrounds and cabins, all surrounded by private woodland parcels.
Most of our parcels are designed as "near-blank slates." We take care of the edges and the overall landscaping to keep the regions looking cohesive and realistic, but we give you the freedom to create a home that truly fits your style. Whether you want a tiny cabin in the trees or a quiet lakeside retreat, you have the room to breathe here.
Our third region, Adelara Estate East, brings a bit of small-town charm to the woods. It’s home to our flagship stores, StudioOne and Shits & Giggles, as well as a wedding chapel, art gallery, and plenty of quiet corners for photo ops. Everything here is open, free to use, and built for immersion.

Community Info & Covenant
Welcome to Adelara Estate. Please read the following guidelines to get the most out of your tenancy. By buying, renting, or being present in this Region, you agree to this covenant.
Section 1: Buying & Renting
- You don't need a Premium Account to own or rent land at Adelara Estate, and it won't count toward your Linden Lab tier. However, you must maintain weekly tier fee payments via your rental meter.
- All tiers are non-refundable. Please consider this before adding funds.
- To buy a parcel, access "About Land," choose "Buy Land," then right-click and pay the rental meter. Note: not all parcels are owned by tenants (see section 3 for group-owned rentals).
Section 2: Behaviour Policy
- Adult Content: Nudity/sex are permitted in public spaces adhering to SL's TOS. On private land, disable avatar visibility for privacy.
- Harassment, bullying, or stalking is not permitted. If asked to stop offensive language, comply.
- Player-versus-player confrontations, combat HUDs, and trolling are prohibited.
- Respect privacy. If asked to leave someone's property, comply or face a temporary ban.
Section 3: Rentals
- Parcel edges (including sculpted beaches) must remain unmodified unless approved.
- Ban lines are not allowed. Management will provide optional security.
Section 3a: Private Rentals
- Pay the meter (two weeks upfront required). Right-click land and Buy for L$1.
- Auto-eviction occurs 72 hours after failure to pay tier. All objects will be returned.
Section 3b & 3c: Group-Owned / Skyboxes
- Pay the meter and accept the automated group invite from our bot to gain rez rights.
- Auto-eviction occurs 48 hours after failure to pay tier.
Section 4: Delinquency & Support
- If you cannot pay tier before arrears, contact management to arrange late payment.
- During reclamation for non-payment, all objects will be returned. We assume no responsibility for lost items during returns.

Camping at Lakeside
Welcome to the beautiful Lakeside Nature Reserve. Pitch a tent, relax by the water, and enjoy the serene wilderness maintained by Adelara Estate.
Location & Directions
From the Visitors Centre, simply head directly over the bridge to the Adelara Lake region and follow the signs. We highly recommend enjoying the scenic walk! However, if you prefer to teleport, use the button below.

Reserving a Site
- How to Book: Right-click on the wooden sign at your desired site (numbered 1-5) and choose Pay.
- Rate: L$75 per night.
- Duration: You may rent for as long as you'd like! However, if the campground is fully booked, we ask that you vacate after 1 week to give others a chance to enjoy the reserve.
Group Access & Guests
- Group Tag: Once paid, you will be invited to the Adelara Lake Estate group. Accept the invite and wear your tag to use objects and rez your own camping gear.
- Guests: Having friends stay over? There's no extra charge! Just invite them to the group and make sure they wear the tag too.
Cabin Rentals
Nestled in the woods of our nature reserve, our cabins offer a cozy, private retreat with all the comforts of home.
Location & Directions
Take a scenic walk from the Visitors Centre over the bridge to Adelara Lake and follow the posted signs. If your bags are packed and you're ready to unpack immediately, you can teleport directly below.

Reserving a Cabin
- How to Book: Right-click on the rental meter at your desired cabin and choose Pay.
- Rate: L$849 / week.
Group Access & Guests
- Group Tag: Once paid, you will receive a group invite. Wear your Adelara Lake Estate tag to interact with the cabin and rez your personal items.
- Guests: Friends stay free! Invite them to the group so they can wear the tag and enjoy the space with you.
StudioOne Security System
To use your cabin's included security system, you MUST request to be added to the Admin list. Please contact a staff member to be added. Click the system to bring up the menu, which displays how many avatars are on each list.
Default Settings (Please Review)
- Warning time: 25 seconds
- Eject to: Off Parcel
(PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE THIS: Your cabin borders a public park. We don't want avatars being sent home just because they accidentally walked onto the edge of your parcel!) - Range: Max (entire parcel)
- Mode: Passive (only blacklisted avatars are ejected)
- Group: Enabled
Menu Options
KICK: Enter an Avatar name (not username) to remove them immediately.
SETTINGS: Opens the configuration menu.
ON/OFF: Toggle the security system.
EJECTED: View previously ejected avatars. Click LIST to view in local chat, or CLEAR to wipe the history.
ADMINS: Add or remove an Avatar name to the Admin list. Click LIST or CLEAR to manage.
VISITORS: View who has visited your parcel. Click DUMP to view in local chat, or CLEAR.
WHITE: Add an Avatar to the whitelist (never ejected). Click LIST or CLEAR to manage.
BLACK: Add an Avatar to the blacklist (no access). Click LIST or CLEAR to manage.
